A big thank you to our Drive My Life mentors! 🚗

Our Central & Western Southland mentors recently came together for a well-deserved morning tea. A chance to thank them for volunteering their time, share ideas and hear some heartwarming success stories.

Their support helps people gain confidence, become safer drivers and work towards a licence that can open doors to employment, education and independence.

Yesterday, our Drive My Life team had the privilege of welcoming Liz McLellan from Driving101, who delivered an engaging and insightful workshop on working with neurodiverse learners in the driving space.

Joined by representatives from other organisations across the region, attendees explored topics such as cognitive overload, learning difficulties and the behaviours we may see in novice drivers. We gained valuable strategies to better understand and support every learner on their journey to becoming safe, confident drivers.
