Lap The Lake

At this stage I am not able to get the event up and running again, but if there was a charity keen to take it over would love to hear from you. The large compliances costs can be waved if its run by a charity, especially if it is one that is connected to conservation. Happy to hand over everything to see it keep running, the domain name came up for renewal, so made me think about it.

Feedback Needed
With so many events being cancelled – looking at trying to pull off a Lap The …. Event. Would be same day first Sat of April. Spot Prizes, custom medals sent out after the event, entry fee would pretty much cover the medals and a few dollars to charity – probably $12-$13. Capturing the stories and videos of whatever crazy people come up with to lap? Could be the only race medal people get in 2022!
Thoughts?

it is with great disapointment that i am annoucing that we won't be running LapTheLake in 2022. Sadly the compliance costs, and slow processing of concession combined with the added uncertainty of Covid makes it financial too risky to run. Hope to be back in 2023. Might just have to go camping first weekend of April at Mavora :(
