Theresa is being recognised for her longstanding and dedicated contribution to Parafed Northland, with records showing her involvement dating back to at least 2012, when she served as Chairperson. Throughout this time, Theresa has been a constant and valued supporter of the Wheelchair Basketball team, taking on the role of Team Manager and playing a vital part in the team’s success.

Theresa’s commitment extends far beyond the sidelines. She volunteers countless hours to ensure the team is well prepared for trainings and tournaments—organising equipment, uniforms, accommodation, and travel for multiple events each year, while also managing the team on the road. Her reliability, organisation, and selfless dedication have made a significant impact on the athletes and the wider para sport community. Theresa’s ongoing contribution is deeply appreciated and reflects a true passion for supporting others to participate and succeed in sport.

💐Volunteer Appreciation - Theresa Lynn💐

A huge shoutout to Theresa Lynn for her ongoing dedication and support of our
Northland Wheelchair Basketball team over a number of years.

Theresa generously gives up her time week after week to attend season trainings, support our players, and help keep things running behind the scenes. She also travels and drives with the team to away tournaments, ensuring our players get where they need to be safely and supported every step of the way.

On top of that, Theresa helps organise and book accommodation when required, taking on many of the important jobs that often go unseen.

We are incredibly grateful for her commitment, kindness, and the countless hours she puts into our team. Thank you Theresa, your support means so much to our players, families, and wider basketball whānau.
