💥Registrations for Term 4 2026 Paracycling are now open!!🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️

Whether you're returning or joining us for the first time, Term of Paracycling for 2026 begins 15th October. Get in quick, spots are limited.

Paracycling is not just about riding a bike – skill-building, achieving goals, camaraderie and, most importantly, having fun together.

We have limited pilots available, you are welcome to bring confident cyclist that will pilot with you.

If you have any questions or need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out – we’re here for you!

🔵🔴 Congratulations to Troy Roberston who recently placed 1st in the BC3 Singles and 2nd in the BC3 pairs at the 2026 Boccia New Zealand National Championships!
Troy was also awarded Player of the Year in the Annual Awards! Well done Troy! 🔴🔵

What a fantastic day in the Mid North! 💙

Last Thursday we headed to Waipapa for our Mid North Secondary Inclusive Sports Day, bringing together rangatahi from Okaihau College, Kaitaia College and Bay of Islands College to enjoy a range of fun, inclusive sporting activities.

A huge thank you to the Whangārei Girls’ High School Sports Management class for their energy, enthusiasm and support in making the day such a success. 🙌

It’s so rewarding to create opportunities where rangatahi can get active, try new things, connect with others and experience the joy of sport in an inclusive environment.

We’re proud to be able to take these opportunities into our communities and can’t wait for the next one! 🏀⚽🏐💙

Today we want to give a huge shout-out and heartfelt thank you to Kerry for his many years of incredible service and support to Parafed Northland.

Kerry has worn many hats over the years, from serving as a Board Member to coaching our Para Cycling programme and regularly volunteering his time at many of our events and activities.

We’re incredibly grateful for everything you have contributed to Parafed Northland over the years. You’ve certainly left your mark, and we’ll miss having you around!

As you head away from Northland, we wish you all the very best for your next chapter. Thank you for everything, and we hope to see you back in Northland from time to time! 💙🚴‍♂️
