Kia Ora Wellington Birthright Community,

I'm Aisling, a researcher at Massey University and I'm hoping to speak to families who work nonstandard hours (outside 9-5, Monday to Friday). We are really keen to know more about how these work hours shape your family life and how you manage care for your children.

Participants can be in diverse family arrangements (two parents, solo parent or intergenerational whānau), work full-time or part time hours, and can be in receipt of social support. We are happy to travel to meet you at a time and place that works for you.

Free for All is a great place to shop as well as helping keep good items out of the landfill. Only $10 and you can take as much as you can carry! Check out their post below for more info 💚

Hi everyone!
We love helping the community. In exchange for entering our shop and get access to all the goods we have in the shop we ask you to please follow our rules which includes:

- Respecting staff and volunteers at all times
- Use supermarket shopping size bags only
- Don't leave your bags and things unattended in the shop, don't put bags on furniture
- Don't let your children run around in the shop
- You are welcome to take with you as much as you can carry in 1 trip out the door either in supermarket bags or in your hands
- Upon leaving the shop with your shopping goods and returning to take more bags/items out another entry fee of $10 will apply
- Please weigh your goods on the way out to help us know how much we're recycling each day

Please respect these very simple and fair rules. Let's help each other and make the shopping experience better for everyone.

We're very excited to announce that our new drop-in group for Indian whānau is starting on SATURDAY! 🎉

This group is for whānau with tamariki aged 0-5 years old, and you'll be hosted by a lovely team of volunteers who speak English, Gujarati and Hindi.

There is no need to register ahead of time - just come along!
