KAHUKURA AO LELEI WILL BE HITTING THE ROAD!

Follow Kahukura and Ao Lelei as they chase the aniwaniwa (rainbow) across Te Moana-nui-a-Kiwa (Pacific Ocean), meeting some funny and wonderful friends along the way 🌿🐋🌊

Packed with waiata, music, movement, laughs and adventure, Kahukura Ao Lelei is a story for our tamariki about looking after te taiao (the environment) and discovering that even the smallest of us can make a big difference. 🌱

This wonderful whakaari is in te reo Māori only but directed in a way in which everyone will be able to understand what is happening. Aimed for our tamariki in Primary Schools, Kohanga Reo and Early Childhood Education.

Returning to Taki Rua Productions to direct this touching piece of theatre written by Jamie McCaskill and previously performed by Kali Kopae. Maaka Pohatu has put all his aroha into Not In Our Neighbourhood to ensure that it is presented to the audience with care, integrity, and empathy.
