A huge thank you to Lynda Lovatt Lady Talk for sharing such an incredible kōrero with our community today.

We had a centre full of women from diverse backgrounds who all had one thing in common—a desire for more information, understanding, and support around perimenopause and menopause. Lynda did a fabulous job creating a welcoming space for learning, questions, and honest conversation.

A special thank you to Ruth, who opened our morning with a beautiful karakia and shared reflections on menopause through a Māori lens. Her contribution helped ground the discussion in te ao Māori and encouraged us to consider health, wellbeing, and life transitions from a holistic and culturally informed perspective.

Thank you also to our wonderful community member Kenneth for her gorgeous baking, and to Phina for her suburb-famous scones, which made our morning tea extra special!

If you missed out on seeing Lynda today, don't worry—you can still benefit from her wealth of knowledge by listening to her podcast or picking up a copy of her book(links below)

Thank you to Wellington City Council for their support and thank you to everyone who joined us to help make this event such a warm, supportive, and empowering morning. 💜
