A Little Reminder About Our Bread Pantry

Our wonderful volunteer is helping to fix the pantry door again. Unfortunately, this is now more than the 4th time this year that we’ve had to repair it.

When you come to collect bread, please be mindful and make sure you close the pantry door properly afterwards.

If the door is left open, the wind can slam it and damage it again and we really don’t want our volunteers to keep having to fix it.

Thank you for helping us look after our community pantry and keeping it available for everyone.

A little care goes a long way.

Help Our Kai Kitchen Collect Promotion Stickers.

As we’re getting towards the end of the promotion, our amazing Kai Kitchen volunteers are finding it a little difficult to collect enough stickers to reach their goal.

If you have any extra promotion stickers that you don’t need, we would really appreciate it if you could drop them off to Fieza at Linden Community Centre. 😊

Our volunteers are hoping to collect enough stickers to redeem a big kitchen knife for the Kai Kitchen programme. It will be put to good use when our volunteers are preparing meals for our community.

Every little sticker helps us get closer to our goal.

Despite the wet weather, we had a fantastic compost workshop for our volunteers here at Linden Community Centre on 7 September 2026.

Thank you to Chris for helping our volunteers learn more about composting. They discovered what should and shouldn’t go into the compost bin, how to layer the different materials & how to manage and operate the compost safely.

It was a great learning experience for everyone, and hopefully, one day we can have a composting system for our wider Linden community too!

Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers for braving the wet weather and taking part.
