A mid strength north westerly forecast for Saturday morning means we can have a go at the downwind course!

Meet on the water beside the ramp at 8:30 and paddle past the top of the bay together - once everyone has arrived we'll turn around and race back!

A light forecast for tomorrow morning means we'll race around to Scorching Bay for the first time in ages!

Start gun goes at 8:30am, so you will want to be getting on the water 8:20 at the latest.

We’re all set to launch the Kupe winter series again with the first event being this Saturday 23 May!!!

Events are every Saturday at 8:30am. We’ll alternate between races and group paddles. Every event will start and finish at the usual marker outside the Kupe ramp.

We will be more adventurous than we are on Tuesday nights in setting more interesting courses – self-rescue craft such as skis and waka only! (if we see a flat weather window we may open an event to other craft – we’ll announce it at the time)

11 July - Group paddle (pending Tai Tonga event)

Better late than never - the results from our club champs! Awesome turnout and congratulations to Eva and Paul for taking home the trophies this year - here are some shots of them competing recently at the Vaikobi Auckland King & Queen Of The Harbour in Auckland

The Kupe crew did great at the largest ski race. Highlights include Eva making the women's podium and Jonno and Paul finishing top 10!

A light sourtherly will see us around the fountain lighthouse course for the final race of the series! Please join us afterwards in the club for a low-key get-together.

It's FREE to enter thanks to our sponsor Element Roofing who are now also offering skylights and double glazing. Have a chat with them about what might be involved in upgrading your home! Start gun goes at 6:30 sharp, so you will want to be getting on the water 6:20 at the latest.
