New Zealand generates an estimated 99,000 tonnes of e-waste every year, yet only a small proportion is diverted from landfill.
At TechCollect NZ, we believe there’s a better way.
We’re helping build a nationally coordinated solution that makes it easier for New Zealanders to give unwanted electronics a second life through repair, reuse and certified recycling.
That matters because our old electronics contain valuable materials that can be recovered and kept in circulation, alongside hazardous substances that need to be managed responsibly.
Our vision is simple: every New Zealander should have convenient access to a trusted e-waste stewardship system, regardless of where they live.
We’ve already built the foundations. Now it’s time to build on them.
