Help support our awesome school staff!

The PA will be hosting a morning tea for all staff on Friday 5 June and we’d love to have home baking to supplement the other goodies - please comment if you could provide a plate of sweet or savoury deliciousness!

And if someone could spare a couple of hours from ~ 9am to help us set up and serve, we’d be most grateful 💙

Follow-up: Kōwhai Playground Opening!

Following last week’s celebration, we’re pleased to share a few photos from the opening of our new Junior School playground.

It was wonderful to have QMC Parents’ Association representatives there to mark the occasion and support this special space for our youngest learners. Thank you to all involved!

Update on the NEW Junior School Playground from the QMC Parents’ Association!

What a special morning celebrating the opening of the new Kōwhai Playground, a space the QMC Parents' Association are incredibly proud to have supported.

As a Parents’ Association, everything we do is for the girls, for the students, and for our community. Supporting projects like this, especially for our youngest learners, is at the heart of who we are.

A huge thank you to the PA members who represented our parent community this morning, and to our President Jo Davy for sharing such a thoughtful message.

Take a moment to listen, as it captures exactly why we do what we do on the PA! To all our parents: we’re here for you, and we’re here to support our College together.

🎬✨ What a Night at the Movies! ✨🎬

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us last night for the QMCPA Devil Wears Prada Screening at the iconic Roxy Theatre in Miramar – right in the heart of Wellington’s creative hub, home to the magic of Wētā Workshop and Park Road Postproduction.

It was a fantastic evening of connection, community, and a little cinematic glamour, and we’re so grateful to all the parents and students who came along to support the event.

Thanks to your generosity, and with the support of the College’s Alumnae and Fundraising Director - Kim Verry, the raffle raised $1,000 towards the future Creative Industries Centre (CIC).

From the buzz on arrival to the excitement of the raffle draw, it truly was a wonderful celebration of our QMC community. Ngā mihi nui to everyone who helped make it such a special night, we couldn’t have done it without you!

As Miranda Priestly herself would say… “That’s all.”
