Meet our Artists!
Introducing Donna Jackson, and Kiera Heathcote!
You can check out Donna and Kiera, (and others) art in the Parallel Play group art exhibition hosted at Two Todman from 29 September- 4 October.
Donna is an artist based in Brooklyn, she works as a graphic designer and early childhood teacher. As a break from her usual focus on nature, landscapes and creatures, for this exhibition she ventures into a more reflective expression of inner thoughts as visual poetry art.

Kiera Heathcote is a recent BFA graduate who uses textiles as a medium and nature as inspiration. Born in England and raised in Tāmaki Makaurau, she now calls Pōneke home, though many places hold that name in her heart. As a neurodivergent artist, accessibility and engagement are at the core of her practice. She creates sensory-rich works that invite interaction and play.
Foraged Fantasy is inspired by childhood play and the desire to create a world and characters out of anything that can be found, either in the garden or from the scraps of an adults sewing project. This work explores costumes as a way to see yourself in a different way or play a character. It's not about how you appear to others but to yourself.
