It is supported by the Karori Lions, Brumby's, St John's Trust Op Shop, New World, and generous Karori residents, groups clubs, schools etc.

One of our regular supporters is the St. John's Trust Op Shop. We love the idea that your donations to their store can be converted to food parcel items. Their donations allow us to buy the perishable items that go into our food parcels along with non-perishable items - ie milk, cheese, meat and some fresh vegetables. Always grateful for your support.

Thanks Northland Home & School Committee for your donation this week. Appreciate the groceries and the gold coins too, which we can use to buy fresh ingredients to go in our parcels.

Matariki gratitude - We were delighted to have a received significant donation for our shelves from the children/families at Karori Normal School this week (ie, many, many boxes). We heard that the goods were collected as part of their Matariki celebrations. Ka rawe to mahi! (awesome work!).

Our stocks of cleaning products are running low. These can be some of the more expensive items we end up buying as part of our parcels. If you can help us by adding a couple of these items to your shopping and donating it to your local church or the Community Centre, we'd be hugely grateful - Laundry powder, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, tooth paste and soap. Of course, we always still appreciate tinned foods, rice, soup, tea/coffee etc.

Just doing the numbers on our service last year. We are grateful that your donations allowed us to support about 870 people with almost 250 foodbank parcels in 2025. The stats for Jan and Feb this year are showing the need is increasing, with 40 parcels being prepared compared to 23 last year. The need continues...
