A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Quiz Night fundraiser on Sunday 27 September and helped make it such a fantastic evening!

Together, we raised just over $3,000 towards getting our Paparangi and Newlands Scouts to the New Zealand Scout Jamboree. Every ticket, raffle entry, answer bought, donation and table of enthusiastic quizzers has helped get our Scouts one step closer to this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

A special shoutout to 1841 Bar & Restaurant for hosting us and providing such a great venue for our quiz night. We really appreciate you helping us bring everyone together for a fun evening in support of our Scouts! 💜

We’d also like to say a massive thank you to all the local businesses and organisations who generously donated raffle prizes. Your generosity helped make the evening extra special, and we’re incredibly grateful for the support you’ve shown our Scouts and their Jamboree adventure.

Thank you to everyone who came along, donated, volunteered and supported our fundraiser. We couldn’t do it without you!

We’ve put together a poster below to recognise all of the wonderful businesses who donated raffle prizes. Please support them where you can and let them know how much their support of our Scouts is appreciated.

Speaking of school holidays, this would be a perfect time to sort through the things your family has outgrown or no longer needs and help our Scouts get to the New Zealand Scout Jamboree at the same time!

In early Term 4 we’ll be looking for good-quality toys, books and small household items that are ready for a new home to sell at our fundraising Garage Sale. So if you’re having a tidy-up over the holidays, why not put aside a few things that could make someone else happy while helping our Scouts get one step closer to Jamboree?

We’ll share more information about donation drop-offs soon. For now, check out the flyer below for what we’re looking for 👇
