Monday was the crews Annual General Meeting for 2025.

This year we say good bye to Rachael Archer as crew leader and welcome Jamie Cameron to the exec crew and Cameron Arps as our new crew leader.

It's Service day today at this year's Rover Moot Whale of a Moot 2025!

We sanded and painted some trollies and a game set for a local rest home in Kaikōura! This was great fun and a lovely way to help add some colour to the community.

Then on the way back to site we spontantiously helped out with collecting pieces of a car trailer that had experienced bit of trouble on the road.

Over the long weekend, Victoria met up with the other Lower North Island Crews for a Mini Moot! We spent our time painting one of the campsite’s buildings and sprucing up the site chapel. There were awesome campfires and activities with our fellow Rovers, it was surely a productive weekend for both memories and service!

Over the weekend the Crew attended a working bee to spruce up the Rover Lodge at Brookfield Outdoor Education Centre. We had a great time doing some mahi with other LNI crews, and it's very rewarding to take care of the lodge. It was a very productive weekend with the deck being painted, the roof mended, the kitchen restocked, new fire pit benches made, and the lodge given a good clean inside and out.

We look forward to the work yet to come!

Last night the Crew met up with Karori West Venturers for a Nerf War 🔫

We had a blast and the Venturers showed off their creativity and cunning with our added element of Capture the Chicken!
