Fundraising for our ski trip! Get your orders in by 29 August. Please deposit the money into bank KT McNicol 38-9007-0627421-01 with your name as reference. The Butter Chicken sauce is fully cooked and comes frozen in punnets of 480g at $6.50. The Rotis and sauce can be kept frozen for more than six months. Great as a snack or add chicken and turn it into a meal! The Rotis are great pizza bases too. Yum!!!

Hey all,
Hope everyone is doing well. Mel has managed to book a Scripture Union lodge for the Island Bay Youth Group to use at Ruapehu for the nights Thursday 29th September through to 1st of October. This is the last week of school before the term 3 holidays. The Lodge sleeps 32 people (including leaders). We will be combining this trip with the Rintoul Street Youth Group (another youth group that I run in partnership with IBPC). The intention would be to up on the Thursday and go skiing the Friday and Saturday and come back on the Sunday.

This obviously would be expensive and so we will be looking to fundraise in the months leading up to it. We don’t know the costs yet because we are in the early stages of planning and booking things. At the moment it is a case of letting me know your interest and putting it in your calendar. If this trip is something your young person is or could be interested in could you please email me at [email protected]

Thanks,
Harry

Hope everyone has had an awesome easter and school holiday. This Friday is the first youth group for the term. We will be at IBPC at 7pm. This term we are starting the Youth Alpha Film Series with the intermediate group and the Nua Film Series with the high school group. These are video series that encourage discussion about various aspects of the christian faith. We will continue with some activities but the focus for the next couple of terms will be these series.
See you all Friday 😁
