This year’s WISE PJ Drive is officially wrapped, and we’re incredibly grateful for what our community made possible. Together, 422 pairs of pyjamas were collected and given to tamariki across Taranaki, bringing a little extra warmth, comfort and care to whānau during the colder months.
A huge ngā mihi to every person, business and organisation who helped make this kaupapa happen, including Shining Peak Brewing, Carefirst Medical Centres, Skin Clinic Taranaki, Mitre 10 MEGA New Plymouth , Manifold Coworking Space , Poppies New Plymouth ,Taranaki Lions Club, Taranaki Chamber of Commerce, Central Medical, McDonald Real Estate, Waitara Community Hub, and everyone who donated, shared the campaign, provided a collection point, or simply brought in a pair of PJs.
What makes this drive special is seeing a community notice where there is a need and choose to come together to help meet it. The generosity, time and support behind this kaupapa have helped make a real difference for tamariki across our community, helping them feel warm, cared for and remembered. 422 pairs of pyjamas were collected and given out through this year’s drive .
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this kaupapa possible. He aroha whakatō, he aroha p**a mai.
