Waimanaaki’s Food Truck / mobile support service delivers wholesome, home-cooked kai made with aroha to people across our region every single day. More than just a meal, they offer connection, kindness, listening ears, and support to those who may be struggling to put food on the table right now.

With over 22,000 meals already gifted to the community and thousands of kilograms of food rescued from landfill, the impact they’re making is huge — but they rely heavily on community support to keep this mahi going.

We had the loveliest time at our Alive After Five networking event last night ✨

A huge thank you to WISE Charitable Trust for hosting and sponsoring such a fantastic evening.
It was great to hear from Petunia at WISE and OJ from The Junction about the incredible work they’re doing in our community—so inspiring and engaging.

The catering from Secret Garden Eats was absolutely superb. A wonderful afternoon enjoyed by all of us.

Come along tomorrow to see the Muscle! Americarna is on in Waitara tomorrow (Thursday) between 12.30pm - 3.30pm

Mclean street will be filled with cars, entertainment and fun. Bring the kids down to the Waitara Central school field (Opp BP) where we will have bouncy castles, pepi play soft play, Face painting, food trucks and more live entertainment!

🚨 Last Call for Volunteers! 🚨

We still need a few helpers to staff our waste stations at Americana in Waitara this Thursday afternoon ♻️

Help us support the event by encouraging the public to put their waste in the correct bins so we can meet our environmental needs as a community.

Lunch is provided to our volunteers and you’ll still get to enjoy all the Americarna car action 🚗

We’d be so grateful for your help, we only need 3 hours of your time — please reach out if you can lend a hand!
