Timaru Air Cadets are looking for Volunteers - see below request.

Timaru Air Cadets are looking for adults over the age of 20 who have a desire to volunteer time to help our youth. We are a Youth Training Organisation based on the Air Force. Many of our cadets show an interest in joining the NZDF, I have known Air Cadets who have joined each of the three branches of the NZDF.

Our training includes: Drill, Cadet forces knowledge, General Services knowledge, Aviation, Bushcraft, Marksmanship, Navigation (Air and Land), First aid, Leadership and RATEL plus others.

Cadet Forces require everyone over the age of 18 to be police checked as we have the Duty of Care for the cadets in our care. Every activity we partake in requires our officers and outside instructors to have the relevant qualifications, from flying and bushcraft to tramping and shooting.

If this sounds like something you would be interested in helping with, feel free to email me at [email protected]

Thank you to everyone who helped with putting the crosses out. They look amazing.
