Rosie Chambers from Alzheimers South Canterbury was the guest speaker for the August meeting of Zonta Timaru. With the increasing prevalence of dementia in its many forms, this was an opportunity for members to gain a better understanding of what this diagnosis means. Proceeds from a recent movie night fundraiser (Caterpillar) were presented to Rosie to support local people and their families.
