We know that waiting to speak to someone when you're worried about your pēpi or tamariki can be difficult. 📞

That's why our PlunketLine team has gone all hands on deck to take your calls and meet the increased demand for our support. Our Clinical Leaders, alongside our wonderful PlunketLine nurses, are working hard to provide safe, high-quality advice to help whānau through the surge of winter illness that we're currently dealing with.

Our team is taking significantly more calls a day than usual, on top of our normal mahi including Well Child Tamariki Ora support, virtual lactation consultations and sleep support for whānau. We appreciate your patience. 💜

Need advice on caring for tiny teeth? Plunket Nurse Keli is here with some info to keep those chompers in tip-top shape. 🦷

Top tip: get those little teeth brushing for two minutes, twice a day, with a fluoride toothpaste. It's a simple habit, but it makes all the difference in keeping tiny smiles healthy and strong! 🪥

We’re only a couple of weeks away from September, which means diehard Dunkers like Trish are getting stuck into planning their Dunk it for Plunket fundraisers!

Trish is a proud two-time (soon to be three-time) Dunk it for Plunket veteran. After giving the OG dunk a crack in 2024 (a morning tea with friends and whānau), Trish returned last year but dunked differently.

“I rallied my mum-fit class and turned our regular gym session into a full-blown morning tea fundraiser, right there between the squats and the star jumps!” Trish told us. “Nothing says ‘core workout’ quite like reaching for a biscuit and a burpee!” Trish and her gym gals raised over $600 that morning. “It remains one of the most chaotically joyful fundraisers I’ve ever hosted. 10/10 would dunk again!”

Dunk it for Plunket is whatever you make it. Fit, fun or full of chocolate – dunk it your way. So sign up if you haven’t already to host a delicious morning tea fundraiser or get creative just like Trish!
