Last night’s training was an exercise searching for a ‘lost person’ in the trails behind Thames. Person was located and stretchered out. Excellent team building, views, a bit of rain, and a great debrief to figure out areas we can improve on.

Five members from Thames recently attended a joint LandSAR and Auckland Maritime Police SAREX. The ‘lost party’ was found on Whanganui Island and stretchered back to Deodar.
