Capes were the theme of the day, tamariki learned to select their material, measure, cut, add velcro then twist and twirl to show their designs to take home

Some more fashion ideas grew so we had dressmaking, skirts, jean jacket designs and everyone had an opportunity to learn

Awesome designs, they look fabulous 👌 👏

Thanks to our Textiles & Circles Sewing Group for sharing your time with us

As we move toward spring summer, we have been able to harvest items from our garden for our elders twice a week

Another bonus is when we receive pictures of happy whanau and community organisations that enjoy feeding people, making stew, chilli sauces, kimichi, bread

Thank you to Rotorua Trust for making this possible, also our community friends of the centre and volunteers
