Spring has sprung and we are starting to fill up with kittens. We are expecting this season to be busy!

If you are doing some spring cleaning, we are looking for donations of:

🐾 old cages - top loaders are easier for us but we happily take front loaders too

🐾 toys for both kittens and puppies, can’t forget the pups too!

🐾 linen - towels, sheets, blankets

🐾 scratching posts/cat trees

Delilah is a high-energy, playful, and fun-loving girl who is ready to leave her difficult past behind and start her next chapter.

Delilah arrived at the center with her friend Samson, both severely underweight. Thanks to plenty of care and TLC, Delilah has made a wonderful recovery and is now ready to find a loving home of her own.

A beautiful adoption update from Dracos new forever home 🩷

"Hi SPCA Rotorua team.
We just wanted to send you an update on the kitten we adopted from you about a month ago. He was named Draco but we have decided to change his name to Wink and he is our whole world. We love him so so much and we’re so happy with how he has settled into our home. He’s a very curious dude, spends a lot of time exploring any space he can get to. Loves to be cuddled and head scratches are his favourite (I remember that was said in his adoption listing and it’s very true!!). Thank you so much for bringing this fun & friendly guy into our lives, he’s full of character and we couldn’t be happier."

Hey guys! Wanted to give you a update on how things are going with Tripp. He has settled in to the house so well, you would think he has been here forever, he is definitely a people cat. He is always attached to my partner or I and also sleeps in our bed every night. Tripp is definitely not letting 3 legs hold him back.

Meet Raphael - The Fluffy Ninja 🐾

Raphael is a sweet, affectionate and wonderfully chatty boy who is ready to find his next forever home. And if you're looking for a cat with some serious turtle power, just wait until you see his magnificent fluffy tail!

Raphael came into our care after his beloved owner sadly passed away, and he's now hoping to find a loving family to help him start his next chapter.

Like his Ninja Turtle namesake, Raphael has plenty of character and a whole lot of heart. He may not carry a pair of sai, but he certainly knows how to capture attention - and hearts!

Pizza, cuddles and plenty of conversation are all part of the Raphael package ❤
