Introducing Simon a 20 week old brown tabby short-haired male kitten. His coat is in the classic tabby style with big sworls of colour set in the most beautiful way.

Personality: affectionate and extremely playful while being totally confident. He has a huge appetite and is growing fast so might be a big cat.

His ideal home: loving home with any aged humans. He likes other cats and is fine with cat-friendly dogs.

History: found as a feral kitten in a Loburn home eating from the resident cat food bowls.

Health: desexed, microchipped, vaccinated (due again in a month) flea-treated and wormed and comes with 42 days free pet insurance.

Simon currently has gingivitis which may be temporary from teething and the poor condition he initially arrived in or may be an issue that continues in his life and will require good dental management

UPDATE
Things are going really well with Tibby - in his new home in Lyttelton. We have renamed him Fyffe - in honour of his Kaikoura roots and the wonderful people who have come together to set him on the path to a happy life. We are thrilled to have him. It's been 4 days and while he still has his hidey hole to quickly zip back to he is happy spending time with us, playing and being very snuggly - even started fighting the duvet monster in the morning!

Thank you very much for the amazing work you do. It was great meeting Petra - so caring and organised. We have followed up with the companion register making sure all the details are correct and have booked him in with our vet for his next vaccination.

It is a little hard to get photos of him - he's either zooming around or buried into your arms - but hopefully these show his transition from peaking out at the world to fully relaxed.

UPDATE
Zendaya was adopted for my 16-year-old daughter, who had been wanting a furry companion to help support her mental health. Her new name is Zenny, although she also goes by a few nicknames including Zenny Bear and Princess.

Zenny has been with us since 22nd May, and she has felt completely at home since day one. She was very shy when we first brought her home, but now she acts like she owns the place 😅

She is incredibly playful, affectionate, and just a little mischievous too. Recently she has started getting into my house plants and making a huge mess, (she has destroyed a few including my beautiful monsterra) but she’s simply too cute to stay mad at for long.

Zendaya also has two older cat brothers that we already had. She constantly tries to play with them, although they couldn’t care less — which is honestly pretty sad for her!

UPDATE
Skyla is settling in well here. She has been super smoochie the last couple of days and slowly getting used to her surroundings. It was hard to get any work done on the computer last night as all she wanted to do was lay in my arms 🥰 Looks like she has taken on some of the Siamese traits which I love.

The work you and your team do is amazing. Maureen has done an excellent job looking after Stevie and her kittens, and Skyla will definitely continue to be spoiled here!

UPDATE
This is an update on Rita( formerly Leeta)
She’s a lovely big bold confident cat, who has settled incredibly well with us. She loves her food, and is very proud of her indoor- outdoor lifestyle. She is beginning to explore and enjoy the outdoors, and is a very nimble tree climber - which hopefully will draw her attention away from scratching the furniture ( she has ignored the ugly sofas and focussed her attention on the restored vintage oak furniture) but we are working on that behaviour!
It feels like she’s always been with us, she just fits in so well, and we love her to bits.
