Hi all!

We are excited to announce our toy sale on Saturday the 31st of October. This will be held during our opening hours (9:30-12:30) while the library is open for business as usual. We may even have a bouncy castle set up for the kids so you can get some Christmas shopping done! ;)

We have a good selection of toys for our sale but we would love to collect some more! If you have any toys that you no longer use and would like to donate, we would greatly appreciate it. Just bring them in during opening hours and will happily take them off your hands. Every dollar made will go towards buying new exciting toys for you all to enjoy.

We look forward to seeing everyone there 😊

🧸 Toy Library– We Need Your Help! 💛
We’re looking for good-quality plastic containers similar to Sistema containers to use at the Toy Library for our donated toys. (Or sistema containers if you have any!)
We’re not looking for takeaway containers, as unfortunately they aren’t strong enough for the amount of use they get at the library.
If you have any sturdy, reusable containers with lids sitting around at home that you no longer need, we’d absolutely love to give them a new life! 🙌
📦 Any size is helpful
💪 Strong/sturdy plastic is ideal
🔒 Must have a secure-fitting lid
If you have some you’d be happy to donate, please let us know 😊
Thank you so much for supporting our Toy Library! 🧸

Hello,

Our volunteer for tonight has had to cancel last minute. Would anyone be available to come and cover from 6-8pm with Shannon?

This would contribute to your volunteer hours for the year.

Please let us know as soon as possible. Thanks so much!

Does this scarf belong to anyone? It's been left at the library and we would love to find it it's owner ☺️

Hi Everyone,

We would like to introduce ourselves as the new toy librarians ☺️ Myself (Shannon) and Madalyn have both joined the team at Rangiora Toy Library and we look forward to getting to know you all over the next few months.

We are sad to be saying goodbye to Lynne who finishes up on the 15th of July. She will be greatly missed here at the Library so feel free to pop in and say farewell.

Just a quick reminder that we will be closed this Saturday the 11th for Matariki. Any toys due back on this date will be renewed for you.

Have a lovely weekend ❤️
