Etu Ao

Etu Ao This is a home-based education and care service run by He Whānau Manaaki Kindergartens

We believe in providing quality home based education and care where infants, toddlers and young children are being educated and cared for in home environments that include upholding the values, aspirations, language and culture that are important to families. Etu Ao home-based learning is also about building relationships with integrated services that support the well being of the child and their family. Community links will also be strengthened through exposure to, and engagement, high quality early childhood education.

Etu Ao is closed for service on Friday 10th July for Matariki public holiday - the beginning of the Māori New Year.

✨ Matariki honours three main themes: remembrance of those who have passed (Hunga Nui), gathering to give thanks in the present (Ahunga Nui) and looking toward the promise of the future (Manako Nui).

💜 Pictured: our Whānau Manaaki Kindergartens Porirua office is sparkling with Matariki decorations.
