Little Stars Integrated supports for children with physical disabilities and their families. Helping children with physical disabilities and their families.

Integrated therapy aimed at 0-18 year olds. Our Philosophy is whole child, whole family, whole life. Our Mission is to provide a program for children with disabilities and their families who are the primary and frequent carers. A word from our founders Jules and Pip Cook. "After our granddaughter was born in 2020 with cerebral palsy we wanted her to have the best start possible. We soon realised there was a lack of supports and facilities available to help support children facing life changing disabilities like her. Thus Little Stars was born with the idea of children getting the best start possible with an integration of different therapies to help them and their families reach their full potential." Little Stars is a charity organisation. You can donate to us or sponsor a new family to get involved with our organisation. Thank you so much for the kind words without the support of community minded people like McMillan & Lockwood - M&L we would not have been able to have a space to establish Little Star Smart Centre which is so important is many families in our local community.

We were proud to open the paper today and read this great story about the impact Little Stars is having in the lives of children with disabilities and their whānau. Their dedicated team is helping children achieve milestones many families were told may never be possible, through specialist therapies, early intervention, and personalised support.

We are proud to be able to support such an incredible organisation and the important work they do in our community.

The 2 weeks in pre- handwriting skills sessions our theme has been "The Tiger Who Came to Tea" book. We have focused on simulated imaginative play by making tea, cupcakes and sandwiches for the tiger as well as hand manipulation, cognitive-motor planning and social engagement.
