Last week, we were honoured to see our wonderful Paeroa Bluelight Chair, Rosie, receive the prestigious Gallagher Trophy.
This award recognises officers in the Waikato district who demonstrate outstanding excellence and dedication in their roles.

As a long-standing and dedicated member of our committee and the NZ Police force, Rosie has built trusted, strong and meaningful relationships with many Whānau within our community.

Rosies proactive response as a youth aid officer has seen Paeroa and Ngatea sit in the lowest crime rate bracket for a prolonged period as she works tirelessly to ensure our young people have the support they need and access to resources to prevent reoffending.

We couldnt be more proud of all the work she does and her unwavering dedication to protect our beautiful Hauraki.

Our Paeroa Bluelight crew chaperoned some awesome Paeroa Youth Rugby Chiefs supporters to FMG Stadium Waikato last night, wasn't the final score we hoped for but what a epic performance from our Gallagher Chiefs ❤️🖤💛

Best of luck for your upcoming rugby season kids! A few future Chiefs/Chiefs Manawa in this bunch im sure! 💚🤍💚🤍

Bluelight Rainbows End Day 2025

It's always a highlight giving our rangatahi the chance to step outside of Paeroa, experience a day of fun and adventure and most importantly, build trust, connection and positive relationships with the police officers and Bluelight committee members who serve our community.

This kaupapa is more than just a trip, its about creating safe, fun opportunities for our young people and ensuring they know they are supported to thrive.

A very special thanks to Te Korowai Hauora o Hauraki and Healthy Families Te Ngira for supporting transport by providing vans to get our rangatahi safely there and back.

To the students of Miller Ave School, we hoped you enjoyed your day and the memories you've created.

Thank you New Zealand Blue Light in making this kaupapa a success once again 💙

Today Paeroa Bluelight took a awesome bunch of Tamariki from Hauraki Tigers Rugby League to watch our One NZ Warriors WAHINE in action! 💥

What a game from our ladies!! 💪💙💚❤️
Didn't leave with the win but these kids left with smiles all round, plenty of selfies, autographs & even a few new boots.
