We're walking over 100km and completing two of New Zealand's Great Walks - Barefoot ! Our goal is to raise $15,000 to buy school shoes and sports shoes for youth. All shoes will be distributed through our Charity Partner – The Salvation Army (in New Zealand and Africa)
The Salvation Army will be responsible for both collecting funds and distributing the funds and shoes to those in need through th
eir expansive network and experience supporting those in need. There is an opportunity for other partners to join the initiative as donors, sponsors, or supporters. We will walk the Abel Tasman Coast track on the 17th and 18th April, and the Waikaremoana Lake track on the 19th, 20th and 21st April – completing all walking and travel within just five days. The total distance of the barefoot walks will be 106km
