Is anyone available to help out Friday 13th Feb from 3pm until approx 8pm
Paeroa Racecourse .
We have campervans arriving to stay a night or two to attend Paeroa Highland Games on Sat 14th.
Possibly one or two volunteers can divide time in a couple of shifts.
Unfortunately I need to be at Auckland Airport otherwise I would be looking after the parking.

A huge thankyou must go to everyone who helped out with the Paeroa Community Christmas Luncheon yesterday at the Paeroa Racecourse.
The ladies in the kitchen, without you we couldn't have done it. You were instrumental in organising the kitchen, receiving the food preparing it to be dished up and serving with a smile.
To the helpers on the 24th, setting up the tables and chairs getting all the catering equipment in place all ready for Christmas Day and today to Mike, Ian and Bob along with Barry for the clean up.
It was a huge ask of everyone and working together I can say we did it. We had 120 come in for a meal and delivered 29 meals a mammoth effort for our little group. Merry Christmas everyone.

Merry Christmas everyone, a big ask, would anyone be free to help deliver some meals tomorrow, Christmas Day. We have 24 meals to deliver around Paeroa.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Tomorrow Wednesday 24th is prep day at the for our Paeroa Community Christmas Luncheon at the old Paeroa Racecourse.
Any one who is available to help we will be there from 9am. Hopefully finished by lunchtime.

Wednesday 24th December at Paeroa Racecourse is prep day. Starting at 9:30am.
We have tables to organize, a room to set up.
Vegetables to prep.
Hopefully finished by midday.
The more people able to help would be fabulous.

Ten days to go, so much to do between now and December 25th.
What do we still need?
2-3 large bags of potatoes
3-4 large pumpkins
Plus approx a large box of kumera.

If anyone or any business able to donate any of the about it will be much appreciated by all.

Please book ASAP if you are wanting to have Christmas lunch with us. We still have about 20 spaces.

We can pick up if you need a ride.

Not long to go and it will be Christmas Day. 18 days from today.
If you haven't already booked your place please do ASAP.

We still required
Large bottles of fruit juice about 8
1 more 10kg sack of potatoes
Kumera preferably a large box but whatever we can get .
Pumpkins at least 4 big ones

On the 24th will need
6 large bottles of cream
2 large bottles of milk

I think I may have enough in donations and gift cards to cover the rest of the items we need to make a beautiful Christmas Lunch for everyone.

Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed every can every bottle given is so appreciated.

The we now have the major items this year covered.
The hams have been donated.
The Legs of Lamb donated by Mel's Catering
The Chickens donated by the
Lions.
Cans of fruit donated by the parishioners of the Baptist Church.
We have a wonderful team of helpers.
A true community effort to bring together a beautiful christmas luncheon especially for those that are on their own or finding it hard this year .
Our wonderful entertainer Rangi will be joining us again this year as he has done for the past 3 years. Plus we may have a surprise guest joining us.

The wonder of Christmas is just around the corner. Everything is falling into place for our Community Christmas Luncheon on December 25th at the old Paeroa Racecourse.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to bring our community together, and I know that with your support, we can make a real difference.

Paeroa is a community that truly cares, and it's heartbreaking to think that some people will spend Christmas alone, making do with what they have, with no one to share the joy of the season.

If you know someone who will be spending Christmas Day by themselves, please let them know about our Community Christmas Luncheon.

It's a free event, made possible by the generosity of our community. We'll have some exciting raffles at the door for those who'd like to participate.

No one should have to spend Christmas alone. Paeroa is a community that comes together to support one another, and this Christmas, we can make a real difference in the lives of those around us.

I had a call yesterday from someone asking about the Paeroa Community Christmas Lunch on December 25th. They were told it wasn't happening this year.

The Paeroa Community Christmas Lunch on Christmas Day is definitely on.

* If you haven't booked your seat please do as we dont have many left.
* We will deliver to those that cannot leave their homes. (Paeroa area only)
* We can pick you up if you need transport to and from the Paeroa Racecourse.

We still need donations to cover all food costs.
To date we have the meats all covered.
Still need desserts, Christmas Cake, vegetables plus the likes of milk and cream etc , all needed closer to the day.

Paeroa Community Christmas Lunch thursday Dec 25th at the Paeroa Racecourse. Come and join us, totally free.

We have dine in and can also deliver a meal to anyone unable to get to the Racecourse. (Paeroa area only) or you can pickup and takeaway

Everything is provided by the community of Paeroa.

There will be raffles and donation buckets if you would like to make a contribution.

Any profit made will go to CPNZ Paeroa.
