A Waiheke Island housing project creating long-term accommodation for locals. Aim: To build up a portfolio of land and housing owned by the Waiheke Community.

Established in 2016 by three Waiheke Community members who understood the housing crisis that Waiheke Island found itself in. Rising prices, no long-term rentals and unaffordability for young families to secure long-term affordable rental and stem the exodus from the Island by its most valuable residents. Kia ora Waiheke!

We had a great hui last night to discuss a simple, no-brainer change that would make an incoming policy actually work to make Waiheke's housing more affordable.

We had fantastic support for our proposals to make the new 'granny flat' rules work for the island and now it's time for us to get your support, too.
