The New Hub

The New Hub The New Hub is a huge blue building on New Street in Nelson City, with an eye-catching mosaic on the outside of a heart and a star.

The New Hub is the warm heart of Nelson and a friendly space for young people to meet and relax. Opened in 2002, the centre has been a key player in the network of agencies supporting youth in Nelson. Our aim is to have a universal appeal to youth, and to be a place where all young people aged 11-18 feel safe and welcome.
