Last night we had the pleasure of acknowledging our volunteers at our first Longevity awards Jarks Cityside Restaurant.
We came together to share experiences, celebrate growth and continue to spend time together as a team.
Volunteers were given beautiful hearts as our way of saying “Thank You” and “We Appreciate you” ~ they were created by Jo Wilson Art especially for us to celebrate their time, dedication and kindness to our members, their family and our charity.
How lucky are we to have such a fabulous bunch of incredible humans walking along side us 🥰

This weeks Supporter Sunday Shout Out goes to GBB Napier-Hastings, we have been a recipient of their baking since the very beginning in 2017!
We had the privilege of hosting them to celebrate their 9th Birthday, they provide the most amazing baking for charities and organisations like ours each and every month / week depending on their needs.

Our members love to enjoy their biscuits, cakes, muffins, slices and much more. Baked treat bring everyone extra warm and fuzzies and our fabulous bakers add extra love and care to each box of deliciousness.

Happy birthday GBB and the team of bakers, drivers and behind the scene supporters - the recipients are very lucky

This is designed by the members and include things that Saplings, Acorns and parents see, experience and enjoy at The Acorn Project.
From ideas, planning and everything in between has been create in house with the amazing artistic talent of Our Family Support Worker Grayson. He watched the ideas unfold, created a concept and helped the members bring it to life.
A group of members came along to our monthly activity and added colour to the boards. Grayson then used his trusty paint pens to outline, add shadows and create the magic you see.
From our values, our member leaves to ice-creams to fidget toys, uno games to memory making, events to baking we receive and much more. What’s your favourite part?

We are so proud and humbled to have won this award, our team is small and mighty.
We are all doing what we do for the right reasons and to provide support in our community to those who need it and deserve it.
Thank you once again to Hastings Business association for acknowledging the work our charity does and to those who voted for us.
