40km done and dusted around a figure 8, 10km loop in Hastings. Took my dog Meg on the last loop. Feeling good and getting the kms in for the Great Naseby Water Race in August.

Badwater 267VR Elite done and dusted!!! 430km in 16 days, good to get it ticked off. Was a lesson in discipline with some pretty busy days at work and starting on ANZAC Day. Think I'll take a week off and let the body recover before the next big training block starts.
Also happy mothers day to all the legend mums out there!!

Big week in Waiouru and only 3 more days to tick off the 430km for the Badwater 267 Virtual Elite. Counting down the days!!!

Ticking off the kms for the Badwater 267VR Elite. Off to Waiouru this coming week, so a change of scenery and a change of temperature. Good to see a few familiar faces out there today and get a few t***s and waves. 250km out of 430km, still got a few to get done!!

Been a full on few days!!
Friday we paraded at our local cenotaph for the unveiling of a new tablet recognizing all conflicts and peace keeping missions after WW1.
Saturday was ANZAC Day so up at 4am and I was the Parade Commander for the Hastings Dawn Service and then the Havelock North Civic Service.
After that a 40km run as part of the then backed it up with a 30km run today.
Body is feeling it now, time to eat and rehydrate before doing it all again tomorrow and for the next 2 weeks.

Last weekend before the kicks off on AnzacDay running 430km over 16 days. The math's sounds easy but it's a mammoth effort to fit all the kms in with work and life. Windy old day today but still good to be out and about!!
