🚁 What if your legacy could help save a life?

Every day, our Rescue Helicopter crew are ready to respond when someone in Hawke’s Bay needs urgent medical care.

A serious crash. A medical emergency. A farm accident. A life suddenly changed.

Our supporters make it possible for the helicopter to be there when those moments happen.

And some choose to continue that support into the future by leaving a gift to the Hawke’s Bay Rescue Helicopter Trust in their Will.

This Wills Month, we’ve partnered with EveryWill, a free online Will-writing platform, to make creating or updating your Will simple.

You can write your Will from home in around 10 minutes, completely free. And if you wish, you can include a gift to the Rescue Helicopter in just a few clicks.

💛A gift in your Will is more than a gift. It’s a promise that the Rescue Helicopter will continue to be there for generations to come.

You can create your free Will with EveryWill this Wills Month.

We're still buzzing from the success of our inaugural 'Off the Record: Beyond the Black Jersey' Charity Auction Dinner!

Final numbers are still being tallied but it's safe to say the night was a resounding achievement, with all proceeds helping support the lifesaving work of the Wallace Foundation Rescue Helicopter Service for Hawke's Bay.

For those who attended - THANK YOU. It was a purposeful yet fun night full of laughter and insightful stories from our All Black panel.

We thought we'd start sharing a few photos for you to tag and share with friends! 📸🚁🏉

Huge thanks to the talented Simon Cartwright Photography - Commercial for capturing the evening!

WOW, what a night! 🎉

Off The Record: Beyond the Black Jersey was everything we hoped it would be and more. Huge thank you to everyone who came along and made it one to remember. 🚁

To our panel, Ian Kirkpatrick, David Kirk, Taine Randell and Darren Shand, thank you for such honest and generous conversation. It was such an honour and a privilege to have you all. To David Todd for keeping the night moving with all his usual wit, we couldn’t have asked for a better MC. Neville Clark (Clarky) our Auctioneer, THANK YOU! To the amazing Eilish Black for your entertainment throughout dinner (and your very generous auction item!)

To Tony Ras from Bayleys, this event simply wouldn’t have happened without you, thank you for your belief in it from the start and everything you did to make it happen.

To our main sponsor Bayleys, our table sponsors Populous People, Oxbury, Forsyth Barr Havelock North, MCL Construction, Advanced Plumbing and Bay European, and our supporting partners Hick Bros Civil Construction and Conroy Removals, thank you for backing this event and for backing the Trust. Nights like this don’t happen without you.

And to everyone who donated silent and live auction items, your generosity turned that part of the night into something special and helped raise vital funds for the Trust, thank you.

Keep your eyes peeled over the next few days for photos, updates, and an official thank you to everyone who helped make it happen. 💛
