It’s Worldwide Knit in Public Day 🧶

A very good excuse to dust off the knitting needles, finally start that project you’ve been talking about, or learn for the first time.

Grab your yarn, needles and supplies from Knit World Heretaunga Street West, Spotlight Hastings or LOOK SHARP STORE Hastings, or if you feel like cheating a little, pop into Happy Crafts for an already knitted treasure.

Then find a sunny spot around town and get stitching, knitting outside in our beautiful city just feels right.

Ever wondered what we do at Hastings City Business Association?

We're here to support the 440+ businesses that make our city what it is.

That means promoting Hastings, bringing people into the CBD, creating opportunities for businesses to connect, advocating on behalf of our members and celebrating the wins along the way.

Some of our work happens out in the open and a lot of it happens behind the scenes, but it all comes back to the same thing: helping local businesses thrive.

Comedy Hypnotist Haiming Jiang is bringing his hit Comedy Hypnosis Show to Hastings this July for a night packed with laughs, audience participation and plenty of unexpected moments.
