Nationals Days 3 & 4 ❤️💛🖤

Yesterday Mioné was back out on the competition floor representing Waikato in the Step 5 All Around Final!

She did an amazing job, with highlights including a 14.000 on vault and a 14.100 on bar! Sticking her back handspring on beam without a wobble was pretty impressive too! Way to go Mioné! 🙌

Today Zoey competed in the Step 6 All Around Final and put together an amazing performance across all four apparatus, finishing 🥈 2nd overall in the Overs division! Such an outstanding result — congratulations Zoey!

Clara was also back out there today after an awesome qualification round saw her make all four Step 7 Apparatus Finals! A fantastic achievement to qualify across every apparatus and a great way to finish her Nationals. Well done Clara!

So proud of these girls and the way they’ve represented Waikato this week! ❤️💛🖤

Day 2 of Nationals ✨

Another brilliant day yesterday for our T&GC girls representing Waikato! 🖤❤️💛

Amy shone in Rhythmic Level 6 ✨ with beautiful routines she can be really proud of!

Alba, Léna and Zoey had a great competition in WAG Step 6, with some outstanding results:

🥇 1st Floor – Léna Wiria
🥇 1st Beam – Zoey Jackson
🥈2nd= Vault – Zoey Jackson
🥉 3rd Bar – Zoey Jackson

Well done Léna and Zoey! Zoey also earned a place in the Step 6 All Around Final 🙌

Clara had a great competition in WAG Step 7, qualifying for all four apparatus finals! 👏

Over in Tumbling, Mioné and Charlie represented Waikato in the 11–12 year competition, with Mioné progressing through to the final and finishing 3rd overall! 🥉 This is T&GC’s first year with athletes at Nationals in competitive tumbling, so bringing home a medal makes it extra special! And a big congratulations to our Tumbling coach Abbey, what a way to mark T&GC’s first year of competitive tumbling at Nationals! 🙌

So much to celebrate — we’re incredibly proud of all our girls! 🖤❤️💛
