Playcentre Messy Play 🎨🖌️
Say yes to mess

Come and explore messy play activities that spark creativity and unlock learning. Get involved and have fun with your child without the mess at home.

Join us as we delve into an array of messy play offerings, from paint and playdough, to a sand and clay, to slime and gloop.

Sensory materials that are captivating for young children, and offer limitless opportunities for learning. Children grow their capacity to concentrate, develop hand-eye coordination, expand their communication skills, and learn about different materials and textures. With minds that are naturally curious and hands eager to explore, messy play is satisfying and inspiring for youngsters.

Explore the benefits alongside your child, with a range of sensory activities they’re sure to love.

23-27 August at a Playcentre near you.

Fantastic to see so many Playcentre graduates and their whānau at the Arbor Day tree planting this morning at Waiwhakareke Natural Heritage Park. The volunteer spirit is still strong as ngā whānau tupu ngātahi ☺️

We have spaces for adults in two upcoming play & learning workshops at Peachgrove Playcentre. Science - this Fri 12 Mar with Amelia Meertens and Music - Fri 26 Mar with Karina Hart, both 9:30am-11:30am. Unfortunately Peachgrove is unable to host children from other centres on these mornings, however if you'd like to come child-free (maybe drop off your tamariki at your home centre?) please comment below to book in or email Kara [email protected]. Note that these workshops are not part of the education programme - they are for your own learning to share new ideas at your centre. Nau mai, haere mai!
