More than 250 people came together for our fundraising dinner, with many more supporting us through donations, sponsorship, services, promotion and volunteering.
A very special acknowledgement goes to the Waikato Indian Association, Tarun Kumar Pragji, and the entire WIA team. Their generosity, tireless effort and commitment were instrumental in making this event possible.
We are equally grateful to the Waikato Multicultural Council Inc, Talents Of The Pacific Academy - T**A Group, Ash Parmar - ACT Waikato, KΕrero With, our community organisations, sponsors, businesses, donors, volunteers and supporters who contributed their time, resources, services and generosity.
We were honoured to have the presence and support of:

Tim Macindoe, Mayor of Hamilton
Aksel Bech, Mayor of Waikato District
Ryan Hamilton, MP for Hamilton East
Georgie Dansey, Member of Parliament

along with many other elected representatives, community leaders and distinguished guests.
To everyone who purchased a ticket, booked a table, donated, sponsored, contributed goods or services, volunteered, promoted the event or simply stood beside us - this achievement belongs to all of you.
What began during an incredibly painful time became a remarkable demonstration of Aroha, Manaakitanga, compassion and unity.
Different communities came together with one purpose:
To stand with Nepal. π³π΅
The fundraising is now complete and the funds have reached their intended destination. But the kindness and solidarity shown by the people of Waikato will stay with us for a very long time.
From the bottom of our hearts,
Thank you. Dhanyabad. π
