Meet Dominique and Natalie, our newest recruits to the team! 🤩

Today we’ve been connecting with all our mummas, hearing what’s working well for them, sharing ideas, and talking about our vision for the future.

It’s so wonderful to hear that our mummas and their pēpē are thriving. We’re excited to have Dominique and Natalie on board and look forward to the journey ahead!

Helping rangatahi reel in their potential 🎣

We recently shared the story of Casting Futures, a fantastic initiative giving young people the opportunity to get out on the water, learn new skills and experience the confidence and connection that can come from something as simple as fishing.

The programme is raising funds for equipment, safety gear, kai and resources to help get the pilot underway and, hopefully, create something that can reach even more rangatahi in the future.

Every contribution, big or small, can help make a difference 💙

If you’d like to support this kaupapa, you can find out more or make a donation through the Givealittle page here: https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/casting-futures-helping-rangatahi-reel

We love seeing partnerships come together to create real opportunities for rangatahi.

This week, and Ama Training Group met with the amazing Joe Wilson, the storyteller behind Lots of Little Fires, a series sharing stories from across the Waikato.

We had the opportunity to share with Joe the story behind our partnership, and how working together has enabled us to offer training courses to 30 rangatahi.

It’s a great reminder that when we bring our strengths, connections and resources together, we can create opportunities that may not be possible alone.

We are stronger together when we partner for impact 🤝💪

MEET CJ - ONE OF OUR AMAZING STUDENTS! 🤩

CJ has an incredible goal before his placement comes to an end - he wants to give our rangatahi a life changing experience by teaching them how to fish! 🎣

This is about so much more than learning to catch a fish. It’s about connection, confidence, new skills, creating memories and giving our young people an experience they may never otherwise have the opportunity to have.

📲 Scan the QR code to read CJ’s proposal and find out more about his vision.

We’ll be launching our Givealittle page very soon, so please help us spread the word by sharing it far and wide.

And if you can… give a little. Every contribution, big or small, will help CJ turn this wonderful idea into reality 🎣💙

Let’s get behind CJ and make this happen for our rangatahi! 🙌

A huge thank you to YWCA and SkyCity for this incredible opportunity!

Day one has already been filled with fun, laughter, new experiences, discovering talents we didn’t know we had, and making new friends along the way.

Here’s to connection, wellbeing, learning and plenty more memories to come! 💙

We had a fantastic day with Marc from Allheart, working together on plans for the launch of our online store 🛍

This exciting project will give our rangatahi the opportunity to develop valuable sales and customer service skills while also playing an important role in waste minimisation ♻

We feel incredibly fortunate to partner with such awesome organisations as AMA Training and Allheart, who share our commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for our rangatahi and making a positive difference in our community.

The Foundation Course is well underway at AMA! 👏

Our rangatahi have been learning about weights and measurements while putting their skills to the test in a fun cooking competition 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

A little healthy competition, plenty of learning - and some very tasty results! 😋

Moses and Angie had the important job of judging (and eating!) the finished creations. We think they got the best part of the deal! 😂

06/08/2026

It’s a busy time here at Twenty20! 💪

When the team aren’t at course, you’ll find them hitting the gym … a good workout and a little reflection - a pretty great combination! 🙌

A huge thank you to our whānau friend, Joel, for creating this incredible mural, inspired by the aspirations of our rangatahi.

Your talent has brought their vision to life and created something they'll be proud of for years to come. We couldn't be more grateful!
