Are you a sessional assistant? Did you know your peers at Auckland Uni often start near $40 per hour, while we start near minimum wage? We're negotiating literally right now to get the ball rolling on bringing our staff closer to a fair level. To all members of the Student Employees of Waikato University Association and Postgraduate Students' Association - University of Waikato, we hope you can all finally take a breather with the exam season coming to an end!

We'd like to text-introduce you to Tanya! In her own words:

"I am the new MAS Student Adviser on campus. I provide free financial consultation sessions to all students regarding their KiwiSaver and Retirement Savings Scheme over a quick coffee catch-up where I will treat you to a coffee and we will do a personalised risk profiling for you to discuss which KiwiSaver fund and provider might be the best one for you. There are currently some myths regarding KiwiSaver as a whole, and I aim to clear some of that misunderstanding so you are able to maximise your returns for the amount you are contributing.

To congratulate everyone on finishing the academic year, I have prepared an $80 Countdown gift card giveaway for all SEA and PGSA students – all you have to do is enter the draw by filling in your name and email in this short form: https://communications.mas.co.nz/surveys/ntb968m0g_54h1bb13dw6nxr4d00wfv113fnnbl3ptxjkp50ymxv03mk9nmj

If you are interested in having a chat about your KiwiSaver, we can meet on campus or online and I will do a quick run-through and explain how to maximise your KiwiSaver returns."

Congratulations again and have an amazing end of the semester!
