This session is entitled: "Tending the Story: From Witness to Weaver," and within it we will explore the thread connecting our inner narratives to the communities and systems we are part of. This is not simply a session to listen to while you eat your lunch...something new can begin here.🤎 🌿

We're watching "Finding the Money", a gripping documentary that will prompt you to ask "What if the story we've been told about Government debt...isn't the full story?"

We invite you to join us as we follow Stephanie Kelton, former chief economist on the Senate Budget Committee, on a journey through Modern Money Theory as she explores how government debt actually works - breaking down the true nature of government monetary systems and sparking an incredibly rich koorero that's echoed all the way here to Kirikiriroa Hamilton.

Afterwards, we will be hosting a post-movie discussion panel with Justin Connolly, Jahvaya Wheki and Jennifer Nickel! It is ABSOLUTELY worth your time to pop in and join us for an evening.

Our Seedling Liv had the opportunity to teach an intro to Graphic Design workshop at YWCA Waikato last Saturday as part of their Wellbeing Storyteller Programme for young Waikato women!

"This was a fantastic opportunity to share the passion I feel for the artistic element of digital storytelling with other young people. Because we were all so similar in age, it felt more like a koorero with peers than a class. It was genuinely lovely!" - Liv.
