Avian Wildlife Rehabilitation Trust - WildCare WildCare - Avian Wildlife Rehabilitation Trust provide a rehabilitation service for sick, injured and orphaned avian wildlife in the Waikato.

We hold an authority to hold protected wildlife while they are being treated for rehabilitation. The Trust operates as Wildcare. There are three people combining their knowledge, resources and time to ensure at risk wildlife have a greater chance to recover and be released back to the wild. All protected birds are banded prior to release as part of the ongoing study of rehabilitation and its effectiveness in the conservation of New Zealand wildlife.
