Well the rain arrived but thankfully not until we had taken most of the goals down.

The Overs ran the Unders close but couldnt quite seal the win, couple of long range beauties from Dangy not enough.

Hope to see you all at Prizegiving tonight from 530pm!!

And so the 2026 season came to a close with both the𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐨'𝐬 𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐤𝐲𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝟏𝐬𝐭'𝐬 and the 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 finishing off their seasons at home.

In the 11am game, the Socials took on Takaro Turtles in the Tingey Plate semi final. The girls took the lead through Holly Jamieson on 21 minutes, only to be pegged back immediately thanks to a Takaro wonder-goal. The lead was restored on 27 minutes when Eden Surville converted a penalty, and the half finished with the Socials 2-1 to the good. The lead did not last long after halftime, with Takaro equalizing on 46 minutes. The girls then had the better of the chances, spending large parts of the game camped out in the Takaro half - but just could not convert their chances. Takaro then took the lead on 66 minutes with their striker completing her hat-trick. Despite plenty of set piece opportunities we just could not find an equaliser and so Takaro progress to the final.

At 1pm, the 1st's took on undefeated League and Cup champions Marist Mayhem. With several players backing up from the 11am game it was going to be a tough battle against a Marist side that have only dropped points twice this season, one of which was a draw against us. Marist got out to an early lead with two goals inside the first 15 minutes, and it remained at 2 nil until five minutes into the second half. Marist killed the game off with a further 3 goals in a 15 minute spell at the start of the second half, before pushing to score out with two more in the final ten minutes, the game finishing 7 nil.

A rough night out in Massey for the 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐨'𝐬 𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐤 𝐘𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝟏𝐬𝐭'𝐬, falling to PNU Reserves 5 - nil on a wet night in Palmy. Two goals in the first ten minutes put the girls on the backfoot, but no further goals were scored in the first half. Two goals in two minutes around the 55 minute mark saw the game over as a contest before a fifth was added on 79 minutes.

First up on Sunday, we have the 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥'𝐬 taking on Takaro Turtles at 11am in the semi-final of the Tingey Plate. It's great that we can host the semi-final at Timona, and it would be great to have as many of you as possible on the sidelines to roar them into the final. We take on a Takaro team who won the league, and over the season both games ended with wins to Takaro.

💛💛🖤🖤💛💛🖤🖤💛💛🖤🖤💛💛🖤🖤💛💛

At 1pm, the 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐨'𝐬 𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐤𝐲𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝟏𝐬𝐭'𝐬 are at home to league champions Marist Mayhem. Marist dropped points in only two games all season, one of which was a draw against us, and are coming off a large 15-1 win that sealed them the title. We had a big win against Takaro last week to seal third place, and will be looking to finish their season strong.
