EVENT UPDATE: Venue Change

Hi everyone,

Due to lower-than-expected RSVP numbers, we’ve made the decision to cancel the formal event at The Waterworks this Wednesday.

We’re still getting together! Instead, we are pivoting to an informal catch-up:

🥤 Bonus: First drink on arrival is on us!

A huge thanks to Ed for all his help organizing The Waterworks - we’re looking forward to hosting an event with him there in the future when numbers pick up.

SEPTEMBER NETWORKING MEETING -
Summer is just around the corner, the ferry is returning for Labour Weekend, and it’s time to show local visitors what Coromandel has to offer! ⛴️☀️

Join the CCBA at The Waterworks on Wednesday, 30 September for an evening of networking, cross-promotion, and summer prep. Whether you run a local café, accommodation, tour, or tourism service, this is your chance to connect, swap brochures, and gear up for a busy season together.

The Waterworks Famil Tour for early arrivals! At 5:15 PM: Main event & 1–2 minute sector pitches. (Local Coromandel-Colville Ward businesses can register for individual pitch slots; wider peninsula partners are welcome to pitch grouped regional offerings!)

AUGUST CCBA MEETING – LOCAL UPDATES

📅 Wednesday 26 August | ⏰ 5.00pm | 📍 Combined Club Rooms

Our next CCBA meeting is coming up, and we have some great local speakers joining us for the evening.

We’ll be hearing from:

-- Coromandel Area School – sharing an update from our local school and what’s happening within their community.

-- Warwick from Community Patrol – talking to us about the work of Community Patrol and what they are seeing within our local area.

-- Wayne Duffy from Coromandel Diesel – introducing his business and giving members an insight into the services Coromandel Diesel provides.

These meetings are a great opportunity to stay connected with what’s happening locally, meet other business owners and hear directly from organisations and businesses within our community.

Everyone welcome, we’d love to see you there!

CCBA is working with The Coromandel Informer to promote our Coromandel-Colville Ward and its local businesses in the popular Coromandel Summer Magazine - we have arranged some special discounted rates subsidised by the CCBA & The Informer. If you are interested in advertising - contact The Informer asap or reach out to Jo Scott (Coromandel Accounting ph: 07-211-6484) or drop us a message for more information.

We are hoping to fill several pages highlighting Coromandel Town & the Upper Coromandel & why people should stay, shop, eat & enjoy our local attractions.

The magazines will be distributed on the ferry, into Hamilton & Auckland and across the Peninsula.
