It's been a chilly start to the week, but we'll have the heaters on and lots of fun stuff ready and waiting to be played with tomorrow morning! Can't wait to see everyone!

Just getting ready for Creative Capers tomorrow morning... we had a big pile of shredded paper to play in last week, I wonder what will be in the messy zone this week? Come along and find out! Can't wait to seeing a bunch of friendly faces again this Thursday @ Creative Capers!

Creative Capers is back for 2026!
Let us come up with the messy play for you! Each week a preschool craft and sensory play activity is set up, along with plenty of toys for free play time. Morning tea provided for adults. Packed morning tea encouraged for tamariki. Parents and caregivers are all welcome. We'd love to meet you!!

Looking forward to seeing a bunch of friendly faces again this Thursday @ Creative Capers! Whether it's cold outside or warm, we have a cosy and friendly space to explore and have fun with you and your preschooler.
All welcome. This week, we'll be making some spiky (or maybe not so spiky) hedgehogs, and exploring different textures in our sensory area.

Hi all,
A state of local emergency in the Canterbury region has been declared due to a severe weather warning for Thursday 23 October. Schools etc are all closed, and we're making the call now to cancel Creative Capers tomorrow morning too just in case. Praying it won't be as bad as predicted, but less people out and about is probably a good thing either way. We'll miss you, but look forward to seeing you again next week. Stay safe everyone!

Schools back, and so is Creative Capers! After a well deserved school holiday, we're all go again this Thursday morning for Term 4. Lots of fun to be had and things to explore together with your preschooler.

I'm loving the pretty blossoms out at the moment, so our craft zone will be inspired by the gorgeous colours of the season.
