Congratulations to Kayla Murray on a successful trip to Brisbane!

"Being appointed to the Junior World Cup Qualifier in Brisbane, Australia has been an exciting opportunity and experience to grow and develop further in my role as a technical official.

Hockey is always something that brings people together and this trip has been no different walking away with new found friends/colleagues in the hockey family.

I look forward to being able to bring the learnings back in to the association and continue to support other officials through their journey." - Kayla

Day 3 of the U16 National Tournament is now complete! ❤️🖤

The U16 Boys had a solid win over Northland with a PC setting them up for success at the end of the first quarter, followed by 2 goals in quarter 3, Northland rallied in the final seconds of the game to score off a PC but it wasn't enough to stop Canterbury taking the win 3-1.

The U16 Girls fought hard against Northland and scored a field goal in the third quarter, they managed to hold Northland off from a string of PC opportunities at the end, winning the game 1-0.

Both teams will now go on to the Semi-Finals tomorrow.
