Housebound Library

Marlborough District Libraries offer this free
service to Marlborough residents who are
permanently, or temporarily, unable to get to
the library, due to age or illness.
All library materials can be borrowed, including large
print books, talking books, DVDS and magazines.
We meet with all prospective members in their home to
create a reading/listening profile.
A volunteer is allocated who selects and delivers items
at a mutually convenient time.
All staff and volunteers are police-checked.
You can nominate a family member, neighbour or
friend to deliver your items.

Accommodation Available – Picton

For anyone looking for accommodation in Picton, there are two self-contained one-bedroom apartments currently available at Waikawa Bay Holiday Park.

The units can be rented furnished, and there are already a number of older people living there, so the owners are looking for someone who will make it their home.

A bus to Blenheim runs three times a week, and the bus stop is just a short walk from the front gate.

Rent: $350 per week, plus power.

If you're interested or would like more information, please contact Felicity or Richard on 027 446 5432.
