The team at Tuapeka Community Health believe that everyone in the community deserves access to quality healthcare. Their Pay It Forward fund is held in credit and used to provide discreet, no questions asked support to people who need financial help to access the medical care they need.

What a great way to improve the health and well-being of people in our community!

Supporting meaningful community initiatives like this is exactly what Clutha Foundation is about. We are pleased to have granted $1,000 from our Lawrence Tuapeka Community Fund to help increase the reach and impact of the Pay It Forward project.

Behind each of our strong Clutha communities are dedicated people who quietly give their time, energy, and aroha.

Local veterinarian Dan Cragg is one of those people, a family man who leads with his values and backs them with action. From volunteering in the community to building strong relationships with local farmers, Dan and his wife Sarah have truly made Balclutha home.

That’s why Dan supports Clutha Foundation as a Founding 50 Donor, because he believes in helping build long-term funding for the causes and projects that matter across our district.

Curious about becoming a Founding 50 donor, too? Send us a message, we'd love to chat.

We are so grateful to our community, donors, and sponsors for your ongoing commitment to Clutha Foundation. Together, we celebrated the impact of $49,000 distributed to local charitable causes in 2025/26, made possible by the generosity of our donors.

Your support continues to make a meaningful difference across our communities. 💙

A special thank you to our guest speakers: Eleanor Cater (Community Foundations of Aotearoa NZ), Craig Gordon (Sport Clutha), Thomas Lee & Thomas Christie (Lyddon Scholarship recipients), and Steve Davie (The Louise Davie Charitable Trust).

Less than 5 days until our Annual Public Meeting! Email us at [email protected] so we know you're coming.

Veteran sports broadcaster Steve Davie is this year's guest speaker. After his wife Louise died from pancreatic cancer, Steve established The Louise Davie Charitable Trust to fund research into finding an early diagnostic biomarker for the disease.
Steve will share his unique insights on today’s sporting environment along with thoughtful reflections on New Zealand’s evolving charitable landscape.

You’ll also hear from Lyddon Scholarship recipients, as they share reflections from their time at Blue Light Life Skills Camp and how the experience has created new opportunities for their future.
Join us as we share our vision for what Clutha Foundation is and the lasting change it delivers for the Clutha District.

With no existing playground for its 85 students, Stirling School had a clear need for a safe and engaging space that could serve its rural community. Thanks to our generous donors, we were able to support Friends & Whānau of Stirling School in our 2025-26 Funding Round.

The new playground is a wonderful asset for both the school and the wider community, promoting physical activity, creativity, and social development for young people.

This modern playground will provide tamariki of Stirling with a place to play, connect, and thrive for years to come! Ka rawe Friends & Whānau of Stirling School! 💪
