As National Volunteer Week approaches, we're inviting community groups and organisations across the Clutha District to share stories that celebrate the heart, impact, and people behind their volunteering efforts.

Submit your story by 4 June for the chance to win a morning tea celebration for your volunteers.

All stories will be featured on the Volunteer South website and also throughout the community to help recognise volunteers and inspire others to get involved.

Looking to give back to your community? 📚

The Clutha Budget Advisory Service is on the lookout for volunteers to help with an upcoming book sale! There are a variety of roles available, so whether you can lend a hand for a short time or get more involved, your support would be hugely appreciated.

It’s a great way to meet people, support a fantastic local cause, and be part of a well-loved community event.

🔧 Balclutha Menz Shed 🔨

A new space is taking shape at the Balclutha Museum and you’re welcome to be part of it.
If you’ve been thinking about getting involved in something like this, feel free to come along and see what it’s about.

The Balclutha Junior Football Club are having a meeting this Wednesday the 1st of April at 7pm at the clubrooms on Glasgow street Balclutha.

They’re really in need of helpers to get things ready and assist with small tasks throughout the season. Many hands make light work, and it all helps our tamariki take part in an awesome sport.

Head along or if you'd like to help out but can't make the session, please send them a message on the Balclutha Junior Football Club page and they will get you sorted.

🖋️ 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 - 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

We will be holding presentation sessions in February to give people information on changes to the Incorporated Societies Act 2022.

Come along and learn about the upcoming law changes, and find out what you need to do to get your Incorporated Society updated and re-registered before April 2026.
